Xavier boys basketball pulls out close win at Mosinee

MOSINEE – The Xavier boys basketball team overcame a five-point halftime deficit and defeated Mosinee 59-56 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Mosinee High School.

Mosinee led 32-27 at intermission before the Hawks stormed back with an eight-point advantage in the second half to pull out the road win and even their record at 1-1.

Logan Ramczyk had 19 points, Grant Neumann chipped in 14 and Kyler Bleck had 11 for Xavier.

Treve Stoffel led Mosinee (1-1) with 16 points.

Xavier opens its Bay Conference schedule at Green Bay West on Thursday.
