Xavier girls soccer shuts out Ozaukee/Random Lake to win WIAA Division 4 state title

MILWAUKEE – The Xavier girls soccer team is state champions for the fourth time in program history.

The Hawks defeated Ozaukee/Random Lake 2-0 in the Division 4 championship game at the 2025 WIAA State Girls Soccer Tournament, claiming their first title since 2008. Other titles for Xavier came in 204 and 2005.

Sydney Neilitz scored off an assist from Kate Jannette just 3:56 into the game to give Xavier a quick lead.

The Hawks’ defense did the rest, holding Ozaukee/Random Lake to just one shot in the game as goalie Abigail Anderson did not see one on goal in the contest.

Helayna Krueger tacked on an insurance goal for Xavier 14:40 into the second half to finish out the scoring. The Hawks finish the season with a 20-3-1 record.
