Fox Valley Lutheran softball thumps Green Bay West/East

GREEN BAY – The Fox Valley Lutheran softball team pounded out 21 hits in just three innings and crushed Green Bay West/East 26-1 in a Bay Conference game Tuesday at Murphy Park.
The Foxes (3-0, 2-0 Bay Conference) scored five times in the first inning, added 12 more in the second and finished off the game with a nine-run third, ending the game via the 15-run rule after three innings.
All nine batters in the FVL lineup had two or three hits, with Olivia Fischer and Paige Leavitt both driving in four runs in the victory.
Leavitt earned the win, allowing just one hit with seven strikeouts in three innings.
Fox Valley Lutheran plays at New London on Thursday.
