Appleton United boys lacrosse dominates West Bend

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys lacrosse team scored five times in the first quarter and cruised to a 14-1 win over the West Bend Rush in a nonconference game Wednesday at Appleton East High School.

Senior Jaylen Kempfer scored four goals, and senior Trevin Schultz and Roen Willis each added three scores for Appleton, which improves to 2-0 on the young season.

Sam Stillwell added a pair of goals, and Ethan Toshner and Jayden Golding knocked in goals as well for Appleton.

Appleton hosts Oregon for another nonconference game at Friday. Game time at Appleton East is 7 p.m.
