Neenah slugs past Appleton West baseball

APPLETON – Neenah pounded out 15 hits and scored multiple runs in four different innings as it defeated Appleton West 17-5 in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Thursday at the USA Youth Sports Complex.

Neenah scored four times in the first inning, added three more int eh second, and put the game away with a six-run fifth and four-run sixth frames.

Charlie Blevins had two hits, including a home run, Kellin Gilbert also homered, and Zackary Madson was 2-for-3 for the Terrors, who drop to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the Fox Valley Association.

Cal Juckem earned the pitching win and had four hits and four RBI to lead the Rockets (1-2, 1-1 FVA).

Appleton West will play Stevens Point and DeForest at DeForest on Saturday.
