Appleton West softball loses nonconference game at West De Pere

DE PERE – The Appleton West softball team dropped its third-straight game to start the season, falling to West De Pere 14-1 in a nonconference game Friday at Westwood Elementary School.

West De Pere (2-4) scored eight times in the second inning and added six more in the fourth to win due to the 10-run rule after shutting down Appleton West (0-3) in the fifth.

Ali Raddatz hit a solo home run in the fourth inning for the Terrors’ only run.

The Terrors host Green Bay West for another nonconference game Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.
