Fox Valley Lutheran softball shuts out Seymour for sixth-straight win

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran pitcher Madison Babcock struck out nine and allowed just two hits as the Foxes defeated Seymour 2-0 in a Bay Conference softball pitchers’ duel Tuesday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Babcock allowed just two singles and did not walk a batter as the Foxes remain undefeated, moving to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Bay Conference.

Paige Leavitt had a single and scored on an error in the fifth innings, and Babcock singled and scored on a squeeze bunt by Brianna Dahlke in the sixth to provide FVL with its only two runs.

Fox Valley Lutheran will host Xavier on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
