Hortonville shuts out Appleton East softball

HORTONVILLE – Two Hortonville pitchers held Appleton East to two hits in a 10-0 win in Fox Valley Association softball action Tuesday at Miller Park.

Grace Danoski struck out three in four innings and Keira Wunderlich struck out six in two innings to lead the Polar Bears (3-0, 2-0 FVA) to the shutout win.

Grace Fecteau and Reese Reichelt each had doubles for Appleton East’s only two hits.

The Patriots fall to 0-3 overall and in the FVA and are back in action Friday at De Pere.
