De Pere pushes past Appleton East softball

DE PERE – The Appleton East softball team dropped its fourth game in a row, losing a nonconference game to De Pere 13-5 on Friday at De Pere High School.

The Redbirds (3-3) pulled ahead for good with a seven-run second inning.

East (0-4) finished with nine hits, including two each from Reese Reichelt, Aubrie Erickson, Grace Fecteau and Allena Neubauer. Emma Jacobs drove in three runs in the loss for the Patriots.

De Pere finished with 16 hits, four by Bella Robinette.

Appleton East will play another nonconference game at Neenah St. Mary Catholic on Monday.
