Seymour homers four times, ends Appleton North softball’s five-game winning streak

SEYMOUR – Seymour cracked four home runs and defeated Appleton North 6-0 in a nonconference softball game Friday at Seymour High School.
The loss is North’s first of the season as it falls to 5-1 this spring.
Kendra Rettler, Monique Martinez, Adde Smith and Aryah Krahn all homered for Seymour (5-2).
The Lightning managed six hits but could not scratch out a run against Rettler, who struck out 12 in a complete game effort for Seymour.
Charlotte Radtke and Alyssa Wald each had two hits for Appleton North.
Appleton North hosts Southern Door for a nonconference game on Monday at 4 p.m.
