Oshkosh North tops Appleton East in FVA boys golf opener

APPLETON – The Appleton East boys golf team opened its Fox Valley Association dual meet season with a 166-172 loss to Oshkosh North on Friday at Reid Golf Course.

Wesley Lowe shot a 38 and Owen Weber had a 39 to earn the top two individual finishes and help the Spartans to the victory.

Brody Muller and Tyler Bell both had 42s, Mason Rehberg shot 43 and Max VandenLangenberg had a 45 for Appleton East.

Appleton East will compete at the Metro Invitational at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood on Monday.
