Appleton West boys golf defeats Fond du Lac in FVA opener

NEENAH – Graham Goldschmidt and Austin Arizola each shot a 40 to tie for medalist honors as the Appleton West boys golf team opened its Fox Valley Association season with a 165-179 win over Fond du Lac on Friday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Mason Peterson added a 41 and Gavin Goodyear shot a 44 to round out West’s scoring.

Appleton West is back in action Tuesday at Kaukauna.
