Neenah tops Appleton North in FVA boys golf dual opener

APPLETON – Appleton North senior Jonathan Huenink shot a 1-under par 34 to win medalist honors in a 155-164 loss to Neenah in the Fox Valley Association boys golf dual meet opener for both teams on Tuesday at Reid Golf Course.

Cartyr Simonson shot a 1-over 36, and Mason Peitersen and Carson Seitz had 39s to lead Neenah.

Camden Huck added a 41, Grant Hardy shot 44 and Gordy Cole had a 45 for the Lightning.

Appleton North will compete at Winagamie Golf Course against Appleton West on Thursday.
