Xavier ties for third, FVL finishes fifth at fourth Bay Conference boys golf meet

SEYMOUR – Winneconne had four of the top six individuals and earned the team title at the fourth Bay Conference boys golf meet of the season Tuesday at Crystal Springs Golf Course.
Seymour’s Vince Sigl had a 3-under par 33 to win medalist honors, but Winneconne had four of the next five scorers to take the team title with a score of 144, four shots better than Seymour.
Xavier tied New London for third with a 162 and Fox Valley Lutheran placed fifth with a 178.
William Bauman shot a 38 to tie for seventh, Phillip Schmidtke had a 40, and Derek Watry and Grant Neumann both fired 42 for Xavier.
Gavin Schmidt had a 43, Caleb Elsbecker shot 44, Kaden Kusserow had a 45 and Oliver Schlueter finished with a 46 for Fox Valley Lutheran.
FVL and Xavier will both participate in the Appleton City Meet on Monday at North Shore Golf Club in Menasha.
