Appleton West softball loses home game to Kimberly

APPLETON – The Appleton West softball team lost its sixth game in a row, falling to Kimberly 11-4 in a Fox Valley Association game Tuesday at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.
Kimberly jumped out to a 9-1 lead after three innings and held on, improving to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the FVA.
Lillian Hanke had two hits and an RBI to pace the Terrors’ offense, which finished with eight hits.
Appleton West (0-6, 0-4 FVA) will play at Hortonville on Thursday.
