Appleton East softball has 16 hits in win over Appleton West

APPLETON – The Appleton East softball team 10-run ruled Appleton West for the second-straight day, winning 18-8 in a Fox Valley Association game Friday at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.

East (3-7, 2-7 FVA) smacked out 16 hits, including three each by Aubrie Erickson, Reese Reichelt and Grace Fecteau.

Erickson, Fecteau, Lydia Dahlman and Aubrey Heinz each had two RBI for the Patriots.

Ali Raddatz went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored, and Lillian Hanke knocked in three runs for Appleton West (0-10, 0-8 FVA).

Appleton East plays at Oshkosh West and Appleton West hosts Fond du Lac on Tuesday.
