Xavier places second, FVL fifth at Bay Conference Boys Golf Championship

GREENLEAF – Winneconne had four top-10 finishes to take the team title at the 2026 Bay Conference Boys Golf Championship on Tuesday at Wander Springs Golf Course.

The Wolves finished with a team score of 319, seven strokes ahead of runner-up Xavier. Fox Valley Lutheran placed fifth among the seven teams with a 361.

Seymour senior Vince Sigl won the individual tournament title shooting an even-par 72, three shots better than Xavier sophomore Derek Watry.

Sawyer Krueger and Austin Dobbe tied for third with 78s to lead Winneconne to the team championship.

Xavier’s William Bauman and Fox Valley Lutheran’s Kaden Kusserow finished in a three-way tie for fifth with 80s, and Phillip Schmidtke of Xavier tied for ninth with an 83.

Fox Valley Lutheran will compete at a WIAA Division 1 regional at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah, and Xavier will be at a Division 2 regional at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne on Tuesday, May 26.
