Appleton United boys lacrosse posts comeback win over Bay Port

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys lacrosse team fought back from an early three-goal deficit to defeat Bay Port 12-8 in a Bay Valley Conference game Tuesday at Appleton East High School.
Bay Port led 4-1 before Appleton scored three unanswered goals to take a 5-4 halftime lead.
Appleton continued to pour it on from there, outscoring Bay Port 5-2 to start the second half to pull away.
Roen Willis and Trevin Schultz each had a hat trick, Sam Stillwell and Jaylen Kempfer both had two goals, and Max Segelstrom and Brody Olp each had one goal in the win for Appleton, which is now 11-4 overall and 8-0 in the Bay Valley Conference.
Appleton United will play at Neenah for the Bay Valley title on Thursday in the regular-season finale for both teams, who are each 8-0 in conference play.
