Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball pulls out win at Neenah

NEENAH – The Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball team scored in the top of the seventh inning to pull out a 10-9 win over Neenah Post 33 on Tuesday night at Neenah High School.
Nicholas Downs led off the seventh with a single, moved up all the way up to third on a passed ball and scored on another to push Appleton ahead.
Isaac Ise worked around two walks in the seventh to pick up the save as Post 38 improves to 4-2 this season.
Carter Hudson, Jacob Gross and Downs each had two hits, and Downs and Henry Ott both drove in two runs for Appleton.
Appleton will play at Seymour on Friday.
