Appleton North boys golf loses FVA dual at Oshkosh West

OSHKOSH – Oshkosh West’s Lincoln Houle won meet medalist with a 41 as the Wildcats defeated Appleton North 179-196 in a Fox Valley Association boys golf dual Monday at Oshkosh Country Club.

Jonathan Huenink led North with a 42 to place second, but West grabbed the next four top scores to win its first FVA dual of the season.

Gordy Cole had a 50 and Grant Hardy shot a 51 as well for the Lightning (0-4 FVA).

Appleton North is back in Oshkosh again on Tuesday to take on Oshkosh North at Westhaven Golf Course.
