APPLETON – Appleton North pitcher Charlotte Radtke threw a complete-game four-hits and also delivered at the plate as the Lightning defeated Neenah 8-1 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Tuesday at North High School.
Radtke struck out four and did not walk a batter, giving up just a solo run in the second inning, while also cracking out three hits and driving in a pair of runs for the Lightning (12-3, 8-1 FVA).
Claire Therkildsen had two hits and two RBI, and Drew Brown and Valerie Baranczyk each had two hits and an RBI in the win for Appleton North.
The Lightning play at Appleton West at the Nienhaus Sports Complex on Thursday.
