Fox Valley Lutheran baseball stays unbeaten with win over Menasha

MENASHA – The Fox Valley Lutheran baseball team ran its winning streak to six to stay undefeated after downing Menasha 7-3 in a Bay Conference game Tuesday at Koslo Park.
The Foxes scored four times in the seventh inning to pull out the win, improving to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Bay.
Michael Gutekunst scored on a ground out by Luke Heimerl, Wyatt Schuleter scored on a fielder’s choice grounder by Jordan Sanders, Noah Mayer had an RBI single and Sanders scored on a passed ball to finish off the rally for the Foxes in the seventh.
Mayer and Heimerl each finished with a pair of RBI for FVL.
The two teams play again Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
