Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball stifles Shawano, wins fifth in a row

SHAWANO – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team used a strong defensive effort to defeat Shawano 65-29 in a Bay Conference game Thursday at Shawano High School.

The Foxes held Shawano (1-3, 1-2 Bay Conference) to just 10 field goals and under 20 points in both halves to win their fifth game in a row.

Gabe Heiges had 16 points, Caleb Dahlke added 14 and Cael Loberger had 10 for Fox Valley Lutheran, which improves to 5-1 overall and stays perfect at 3-0 in the Bay Conference.

Fox Valley Lutheran will play a nonconference game at McFarland on Tuesday.
