Fox Valley Lutheran boys golf takes 17th at Lawsonia Invitational

GREEN LAKE – Fox Valley Lutheran senior Kaden Kusserow shot an 80 to finish in a tie for 14th place as the Foxes placed 17th at the 28-team Lawsonia Invitational on the Links Course at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia on Wednesday.
Carter Rohde of Hortonville shot a 2-over par 74 to finish first individually, one shot better than Whitnall’s Grady Lorum.
Kusserow led FVL, which had a team score of 377. Whitnall won the team title with a 316, with Cambridge second with a 323.
Quinn Murphy shot a 90, Gavin Schmidt had a 102 and Oliver Schlueter finished with a 105 to round out Fox Valley Lutheran’s scorers.
FVL is back in action Tuesday at the sixth leg of the Bay Conference Tournament at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne.
