Appleton United girls lacrosse opens season with conference win over Kimberly

APPLETON – The Appleton United girls lacrosse team opened its 2026 season with a convincing 12-1 win over Kimberly in a Bay Valley Conference game Tuesday at Appleton East High School.
Appleton scored in each quarter, jumping out to a 4-0 lead after one and finished off the victory with five goals in the fourth.
Kayden Smit had four goals, and Ally Rhoda and Riley Harris each scored twice in the win.
Candice Guerrero, Kailey Heindel, Naomi Konkle and Sasha Sanchez added goals for Appleton in the rout.
Appleton United plays a nonconference game at Oregon on Friday.
