Seymour hits two homers, downs Xavier softball

APPLETON – Seymour scored in six of the seven innings and cruised past Xavier 13-1 in a Bay Conference softball game Tuesday at Xavier High School.

Three Seymour pitchers combined on a five-hitter with 10 strikeouts and just two walks as the Thunder moves to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the Bay Conference.

Kendra Rettler had four hits, including a home run, and drove in four, and Adde Smith also hit a home run and had three RBI for Seymour.

Quinn Hervey had two of Xavier’s five hits in the loss as the Hawks drop to 2-2 overall and in the Bay Conference.

Xavier hosts Winneconne on Thursday.
