Appleton North baseball uses nine-run fifth to defeat Oshkosh North

OSHKOSH – The Appleton North baseball team won its seventh game in a row with a dominant 12-2 victory over Oshkosh North on Thursday at E.J. Schneider Field.

With the victory, the Lightning is now 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the FVA, tied for first place with Kimberly in the conference standings.

The Lightning blew up a 1-1 game with a run in the fourth inning and a nine-run fifth.

Colin Reddy, Aedan Waterstreet and Nathan Ramus each had two hits, and Waterstreet and Brennan Otto both drove in three runs for Appleton North.

Reddy picked up the pitching win, allowing one run over four innings with three strikeouts.

Appleton North hosts Appleton East on Tuesday.
