Appleton East tops Appleton North in FVA boys golf dual season finale

APPLETON – All four of Appleton East’s scoring golfers shot between 38 and 40 to lift the Patriots to a 156-161 win over Appleton North in a Fox Valley Association boys golf dual Friday at Reid Golf Course.

North’s Jonathan Huenink shot a 36 to win medalist honors, one shot better than teammate Camden Huck.

Tyler Bell (38), Mason Rehberg (39), Calvin Doszak (39) and Max Vanden Langenberg (40) finishing third through sixth to lead East to the win.

Both teams finish the FVA dual season with 2-7 records.

The Fox Valley Association Tournament will be held Wednesday at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.
