Appleton East boys golf wins dual at Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC – The Appleton East boys golf team won its first Fox Valley Association dual of the season with a 165-190 victory over Fond du Lac on Tuesday at Rolling Meadows Golf Course.

Max Vanden Langenberg shot a 39 to win meet medalist honors and lead the Patriots (1-3 FVA) to the win as all five East players garnered the first five spots in the individual standings.

Brody Muller and Tyler Bell added 41s to tie for second for Appleton East.

The Patriots will play another FVA dual at Oshkosh Country Club against Oshkosh West on Friday.
