Appleton North sweeps team titles at FVA Track & Field Relays

APPLETON – Appleton North swept the team titles at the 2026 Fox Valley Association Track & Field Relays on Tuesday at Whiting Field on the Lawrence University campus.

The Appleton North girls won seven events and the boys were first in five to win both team titles with 117 and 103 points, respectively.

Both Appleton East teams finished seventh and both Appleton West teams were 10th.

Earning victories for the Appleton North girls were the distance relay team of Ava Helmbrecht, Evelyn Mendolla, Elise Brazzale and Evan Busch (12:13.02); the sprint relay team of Jada Ellis, Ashley Parrish, Nora Thorton and Sophia Busch (1:51.24); the 100 hurdles relay team of Isabel Parrish, Briana Darling-Sjoquist and Nora Stoffel; the 400 relay team of Ellis, Ashley Parris, Maddie Loken and Emily Thompson (48.90); the 3,200 relay team of Ava Helmbrecht, Sophia Busch, Eva Busch and Brazzale (9:36.11); the 1,600 relay team of Ashley Parrish, Isabel Parrish, Thornton and Ellis (4:05.22); and the long jump team of Ashley Parrish, Lily Haight and Aubree Salm.

Appleton North boys event winners included the 1,600 individual team of Jacob McGinn, Marek Danelski, Spencer Gremban and Braden Waters; the 300 hurdles team of Sam Kuehl, Drew Thomas and Cash Braun; the high jump team of Gryphon Armon, Adrion Rogers and Nik Cruz; the pole vault team of Armon, Adin Poezer and Henry Clothier; and the triple jump team of Trey Fox, Simon Kairu and Cruz.

The Appleton East boys won three events – the 110 hurdles team of Abatar Massingue, Will Bosin and Allan Massingue; the 1,600 relay team of Birk Kozlowicz, Preston Schefe, Brady Koplitz and Liam Krainik (3:30.04); and the 400 throwers relay team ofTruman Lefeve, Ethan Fenstrum, Aydan Ksonda and Will Bosin (47.47).
