Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball drops Rapids Tournament opener to Menomonie

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Menomonie scored in all six of its at-bats and defeated Appleton Post 38 9-2 on Friday at the Wisconsin Rapids Legion Baseball Tournament at Lincoln High School.

Carter Hudson and Isaac Ise had RBI in the first two innings but Appleton (1-1) could not score again.

Six different Appleton players had one hit each in the loss.

Post 38 will take on Wausau and Fond du Lac on Saturday as the three-day tournament continues.
