Appleton West boys golf drops home dual to Hortonville

NEENAH – Appleton West’s Graham Goldschmidt tied for second individually with a 38 but the Terrors boys golf team lost a dual to Hortonville 157-165 on Thursday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Hortonville’s Wesley Barker shot an even par 36 to win medalist honors, with Goldschmidt and Hortonville’s Carter Rhode tied for second with 38s. Mason Peterson and Keaton Buss each shot 42, and Austin Arizola and Matt Dvorak both had 43s for Appleton West, which drops to 2-3 in Fox Valley Association duals this season.

Appleton West will compete at the Fond du Lac Invitational at Rolling Meadows Golf Course on Saturday.
