Fond du Lac rallies past Appleton North baseball

APPLETON – Fond du Lac used a four-run fifth inning to pull past Appleton North 7-5 in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Tuesday at North High School.

The Lightning took a 4-3 lead after RBI singles from Brennan Otto and Jackson Skorr, and Colin Reddy scored on a balk in the fourth inning.

Fond du Lac (15-7, 11-5 FVA) responded with a four-run fifth and held on from there.

Reddy had two of the eight hits for the Lightning, who drop to 12-9 overall and 8-9 in the FVA.

Appleton North will wrap up its conference slate Thursday at Neenah.
