Fox Valley Lutheran baseball blanks Green Bay East/West

APPLETON – Luke Heimerl and Spencer Bromm combined on a five-hit shutout leading the Fox Valley Lutheran baseball team to a 12-0 win over Green Bay East/West on Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes scored four runs in the third inning and added eight in the fourth to win via the 10-run rule after five.
Heimerl struck out three over three innings and Bromm finished up with two shutout innings as FVL moves to 10-2 overall and 7-0 in the Bay Conference.
Heimerl had two hits and three RBI, and Bromm and Wyatt Schlueter each had two hits and two RBI for the Foxes.
Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Appleton North for a nonconference game on Friday.
