Fox Valley Lutheran baseball shuts out Menasha to remain undefeated

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran baseball won its seventh game in a row to start the season, cruising to a 5-0 shutout of Menasha on Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
Luke Heimerl threw a complete-game two-hitter with three strikeouts and no walks to lead the Foxes to the win.
Wyatt Schlueter had two hits and an RBI, and Spencer Bromm and Heimerl also had RBI hits for FVL (7-0, 5-0 Bay Conference).
Fox Valley Lutheran will play Beloit Turner at its opening game at the Waupun Tournament on Friday, with two more games to follow on Saturday.
