Fox Valley Lutheran softball shuts out Xavier, improves to 7-0

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran scored runs in each of its five at-bats and shut out Xavier 10-0 in a Bay Conference softball game Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Madison Babcock struck out four over two innings and Brianna Dahlke had a pair of strikeouts in three innings of work for FVL as the duo combined on a two-hit shutout.

Fox Valley Lutheran leadoff hitter Claire Pfrang had three hits and scored three times, and Babcock had two hits and three RBI to pace the Foxes, who are now 7-0 overall and 5-0 in the Bay Conference.

Xavier (2-1 overall and Bay Conference) was held to two singles by Kalia Stammer and Samia Guerrero.

FVL will host Winneconne on Saturday at 10 a.m. Xavier is back in action Monday at Green Bay Notre Dame.
