FVL’s Kusserow finishes second at second Bay Conference Boys Golf Meet

SHAWANO – Fox Valley Lutheran senior Kaden Kusserow finished second at the second Bay Conference Boys Golf Tournament meet of the season Tuesday at Shawano Lake Golf Club.

Seymour won the team title with a score of 134, 14 shots in front of Winneconne. Xavier took third (154) and Fox Valley Lutheran was fifth (170).

Seymour’s Vince Sigl was meet medalist with a 30 with Kusserow second with a four-under par 32, setting a new program nine-hole record for Fox Valley Lutheran.

Phillips Schmidtke shot a 37, Derek Watry and William Bauman both had 38s and Grant Neumann had a 41 for Xavier.

Quinn Murphy added a 43, Caleb Elsbecker had a 46 and Gavin Schmidt shot a 49 for FVL.

The third Bay Conference meet is Thursday at Shamrock Heights Golf Course in New London.
