Kimberly cruises to win over Appleton East baseball

APPLETON – Kimbelry scored six times in the first inning and cruised to a 9-3 win over Appleton East in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Friday at East High School.

With the win, the Papermakers improve to 14-1 overall and 9-1 in the FVA, maintaining its lead atop the conference standings.

Blake Dietzen had two hits and two RBI for Appleton East (3-12, 1-10 FVA).

Appleton East will play a nonconference doubleheader at Fox Valley Lutheran on Saturday at 11 a.m.
