Neenah tops Appleton United boys lacrosse to win Bay Valley Conference title

NEENAH – Neenah jumped out to a big lead early and defeated Appleton United 11-3 in a battle of Bay Valley Conference boys lacrosse leaders on Thursday night at Neenah High School.

The Rockets (10-5 overall) pulled out to a 5-1 lead by halftime and poured it on in the second half to finish the Bay Valley season with a perfect 9-0 record.

Brody Olp, Wes Post and Jaylen Kempfer each had a goal for Appleton United, which ends its regular season with a 11-5 record and an 8-1 mark in the Bay Valley.

Appleton United hosts Kimberly in a WIAA regional semifinal Friday, May 29, at Appleton East High School.
