Oshkosh West blanks Appleton East baseball

OSHKOSH – Oshkosh West held Appleton East to two hits and earned a 10-0 shutout in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Tuesday at Peppler Field.
West pitcher Avery Mosloski struck out 10 over four innings and held the Patriots’ offense at bay.
The Wildcats (5-7, 3-5 FVA) used a seven-run third inning to blow the game open and won in five innings via the 10-run rule.
Noah Muehrer had a home run, and he, Nolan Cheever and Nathan McWilliams each drove in two runs for Oshkosh West.
Calvin Fuecht had a double and Evan Benbrooks singled for the only two hits for Appleton East (3-10, 1-8 FVA).
Appleton East is back in action Thursday at Kaukauna.
