Stevens Point smacks three homers in win over Appleton East softball

APPLETON – Stevens Point had 14 hits, including six for extra bases, as it defeated Appleton East 14-3 in a nonconference softball game Monday at East High School.
Aubree Itzen had two home runs and seven RBI, and Addi Peskie added three hits and a solo homer for the Panthers (18-4).
Lydia Dahlman hit a two-run home run and Opal Sparkman knocked in a run with a double for Appleton East, which drops to 5-19.
East plays at Fond du Lac on Tuesday and closes out its regular season Thursday at home against Appleton North.
