Fox Valley Lutheran softball shuts out Winneconne behind perfect game from Babcock

WINNECONNE – Fox Valley Lutheran’s Madison Babcock threw a five-inning perfect game and also homered as the Foxes rolled to a 12-0 win over Winneconne in a Bay Conference softball game Tuesday at Winneconne High School.

Natalie Bromm had an RBI double in the first inning for FVL and that 1-0 lead held until the third when the Foxes ripped off six runs as Babcock hit a three-run homer and Winneconne committed three consecutive errors.

The Foxes (11-0, 9-0 Bay) piled up five more runs, winning in five innings due to the 10-run rule.

Claire Pfrang and Bromm each went 4-for-4, and Babcock had three hits and five RBI in the win.

Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Green Bay West/East on Thursday.
