OSHKOSH – Oshkosh North used a pair of four-run innings to defeat Appleton West 8-6 in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Thursday at E.J. Schneider Field.
Nick Downs and Quinn Meyers had RBI singles, and William Malnar scored on a wild pitch in a three-run sixth inning to bring West (2-21, 1-14 FVA) to within two, but the Terrors stranded two runners in scoring position and had a runner wiped out with a double play in the seventh inning to end the game.
Downs had two hits, and Issac Ise had a two-RBI double for Appleton West.
